Lindy Yeates

ABOUT the artist

Lindy currently spends much of her time drawing on Phillip Island.

Positioned on a small stool and pursued by the incoming tide,

Lindy creates large panoramic fine line drawings of the Island coastline across multiple panels.

Her main concern at present is the evident erosion of the island's shore.

See The Drawing Collection  for recent works.

In this video, Lindy talks about her work, her inspiration and her philosophy of art.

Moonah Mural

with Ebony Maier

The ancient Moonah tree stands sentinel along the coastline of Churchill and Phillip Islands, its root-system holding the earth, its twisted branches in sacred embrace; a connection to place for half a millennia.
