Some Physical Properties of Air is inspired by Phillip Island Victoria. A quiet reflection on island life, this piece is a collection of places, moments and observations on the island that remind me to breathe. Sitting at tides-edge, I listen as the wind shifts the ancient Moonah trees, as mangrove mud flats pop in the sun, searching for air with their inverted roots systems. Phillip Island is my sanctuary; a place to sit, draw and receive from nature. Its diversity and beauty is breath-taking.
